Kabza De Small career as a DJ started in 2009 with Afro-fused house and EDM. He released his debut album,  under the label, House Afrika Records tilted Avenue Sounds in 2016. he gained attention In November 2018, with the release of songs like, “Amabele Shaya” and “Umshove”. he also continued his collaboration with Leehleza as he dropped another hit song “Bamba La”, on 3 January 2019 that is still trending on Google trend to date.

Kabza De Small is now referred to as the “King of Amapiano” and the best-selling Amapiano music artist, and one of the pioneers of the Amapiano genre. Spotify South Africa On 3 December 2019, named Kabelo Motha as the most-streamed South African artist in 2019.

Scorpion Kings, Kabza De Small collaborate with record producer DJ Maphorisa, which was released on 5 July 2019, with the lead single, “Koko”. The album with over 100, 000 units sold was certified diamond in South Africa, They also On 1 October 2019, released another sophomore studio album, Piano Hub, with “Nana Thula”, featuring guest vocals by Njelic.

Motha released his second studio album on 18 October 2019, Pretty Girls Love Amapiano. He collaborated with DJ Maphorisa, they also released their third studio album, The Return of Scorpion Kings, on 29 November 2019. On 4 April 2020, he released an EP during the COVID-19 national lockdown period, titled Pretty Girls Love Amapiano 2
