Nadia Nakai Kandava known with her First name (Nadia Nakai) is a South African songwriter and rapper, who was born on 18 May 1990 (age 29) South Africa. She also known as BRAGGA “QUEEN OF RAGGA”. who is a South Africa award winning Hip-hop/Rap artist, She is under the Genres of Hip-Hop. A Rapper and songwriter with a powerful Vocal.

Early beginnings

Nadia Nakai Kandava‘s father is South African with a Zimbabwean mother and was born in South Africa. She Studies at Monash University, Johannesburg with a Major in Marketing, Communication, and Media. Nadia Nakai singed under the record Label of  Sid Records (former) Family Tree.

Career

She has Associated with many local and international act like Cassper Nyovest, Cleo Ice Queen, Gemini Major
Tshego, Miss Pru, Frank Casino, Priddy Ugly, Kwesta, Stefflon Don and so much more. She has been active in the music industry since 2011.

Nakai made won the Mixtape 101 competition on the e.tv hip hop show Shiz Niz on her first television appearance, and making her first female to win. Later in September 2013 she release her debut single Like Me. she featured Riky Rick remix song in the same year, She later released another single Saka Wena featuring Nigerian rapper Ice Prince.

Nadia Nakai songs topped several charts in South Africa radio stations after the release of both pre-released single off her upcoming EP, and Bragga featuring Cassper Nyovest was released on September 15, 2016, She did another wonderfull collabrotion with Cassper Nyovest on her single Naaa Meaan. Nadia Nakai was co host in 2018 at the red carpet for MTV Africa and MTV Europe Music Awards.

Nadia Nakai is yet to get married meaning she is still single. She dated Bandile Mbere (Major League DJz Member) in the past.
